May-June Cons

Heyo! I have been crazy busy lately (started a job, yay! money to afford cons!) and I missed sending out any notices about attending ACen, so here is my report! ACen went great and I got to meet so many new people! My Guertena’s Gallery panel went alright except for some technical difficulties >.< but I still had a full room and people still enjoyed the panel, so that was pretty rad. And omg, the line for my bento panel wrapped all the way around to the bathrooms even though it was Sunday. That’s freaking awesome. Maybe this will mean a bigger panel room the next ACen that I attend? That would be pretty awesome.

I am going to Colossalcon this weekend! Unfortunately, I only had one panel accepted, so I will be running Guertena’s Gallery on Saturday from 3-4pm in Event Room 6! Maybe I will see you there?

I will also be presenting Guertena’s Gallery. I wasn’t going to do any of my panels at JAFAX this year because the schedule is super jam packed that I didn’t need to add in my own programming, but because of the video game theme this year, Guertena’s Gallery really fits! So, it will be on Sunday June 22nd from 10:30-11:30am in Panel Room 4. In case you don’t know about JAFAX, it’s a FREE anime convention on Grand Valley State University’s Campus in Allendale, MI on June 21st and 22nd. It’s a lot of fun, plus I’m staffing it, so please come check out all our hard work this year~!

The other cons I plan to go to (and thus submit my panels to) include S.S. Kaizoku Con, Midori Con, and Youmacon~! I hope to see you there! :)

(I’m excited to premiere my Flame Princess cosplay, I will also be hosting one of the Battle Arena tournaments)

AND I’m going to be premiering a new panel at Shuto Con this year:

Panelception: A Panel about Running Panels for Panelists
Saturday 11pm-12 am in Panel Room 1

I hope to see you there! :D

In other news, I have submitted How To Make Bento and Guertena’s Gallery to Anime Central and Colossal Con. After I find out if my panels are accepted and when they are, I will let you all know! :)

New Panel is in the works!

I’m going to be starting work on a new panel to unveil this year. Here’s hoping it’s as popular as my other panels, and even if it’s not, it’s a subject that I love!

I have to thank my boyfriend, and soon to be co-panelist, for the idea. I actually shot it down at first “I don’t know enough about that to run a panel… well, except ____, ____, and ___. But that’s it! I swear…. oh and did you know ____? Gosh darn it, you’re right! I do know a lot on this subject!”

I’ll announce the title after it gets accepted at a convention. For now, the only clue you get is: BISHOUNEN!

The Witch’s House: The Diary of Ellen: Chapter 1, “Back Alley Meeting”

The Diary of Ellen is a book by Fummy based on his RPG Maker horror game The Witch’s House. It tells the story of Ellen prior to the game.

This is the Prologue and Chapter 1, “Back Alley Meeting.” There are five chapters in total.

I encourage you to buy the book for yourself. (Amazon) Supporting Fummy is always good, and there are some really nice illustrations by Oguchi, who did the cover.

Youmacon 2013 (Preview)

I had SO much fun shooting this weekend, I can’t even convey my feelings. I was pretty nervous about setting up “actual” shoots as opposed to solely goofing off with my friends, but I think it went really well and the experience was great.

I had a ton of fun shooting everyone, and I wanna say thanks again to all the lovely people who tipped me; it was by no means required (I was offering free shoots, and I meant it) but I can not tell you how much it meant to me that you guys appreciated my work that much. And before you even saw any photos!

I’m still really new to this, but I hope I can go above and beyond what everyone was expecting.

I apologize to people who follow both of my pages for the spamming.

AHHH! The first of the pics from our Ib photoshoot is up! So beautiful!
